2022 Albert Street Boat Launch Trailer Parking Permits now available

Tay, Ontario – Residents and property owners in Tay Township can obtain a 2022 Albert Street boat launch parking permit. The permit is required to park with a trailer in the trailer parking spaces located at 110 and 145 Albert Street.

Obtain your parking permit instantly online at MyTay.ca. Click on “Boat Launch Parking Permits” and enter the required information. Please note that you will need to provide proof of property ownership or residency, and provide a license plate number of the vehicle the permit will be attached to and a photo of your drivers’ licence or vehicle permit may be used as proof of residency. A MyTay.ca verification code located on your water or tax bill can be used as proof of property ownership.

2022 Permit Stickers already requested online will be mailed by April 22. All 2022 temporary permits will remain valid until April 30.

Alternatively, you can pick up a permit in person at the Municipal Office during regular business hours Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A boat launch parking permit does not guarantee you a parking spot. Seasonal visitors can continue to use the Municipal boat launch and source parking for their vehicle and trailer outside of the designated permit only parking area. Please be sure to read road signs to determine if trailer parking is permitted before you park. Alternatively, day launching and trailer parking are available for a nominal fee at the following local marinas:

  • Pier 69 - 10 Duck Bay Road, Waubaushene ON.
  • Queen’s Cove Marina – 67 Juneau Road, Victoria Harbour.
  • Wye Heritage – 3282 Ogden’s Beach Road, Midland ON (GPS Location Tay Township).
