Deadline Approaching to Nominate Environmental Champions

Port McNicoll, Ontario – There is still an opportunity to honour local persons and groups who have made an environmental difference in the Severn Sound Region.  Nominations for the upcoming Severn Sound Environmental Association’s Environmental Champion Awards close this Friday, March 3^rd.  More information on how to nominate a deserving group or person can be found at https://www.severnsound.ca/Pages/Award-Nomination-Forms.aspx.

There are four categories this year including:

Severn Sound Environmental Legacy Award; 

Severn Sound Student Environmental Champion Award;

Severn Sound Environmental Volunteer Champion Award​​; and the

Severn Sound Environmental Sustainability and Stewardship Champion Award.

These awards will be handed out at the SSEA Environmental Champion Awards Ceremony taking place March 24^th in Coldwater.
