The Library Services Intern is an integral member of our Tay Township Public Library Team! We are seeking a driven individual with a strong interest in Library services to join us for a one-year term beginning in November 2022.

The ideal candidate will actively contribute to a program environment which promotes inclusion and variety. The Tay Township Public Library proudly offers interns a hands-on learning environment based on variety, development and mentorship. Reporting to the Head Librarian or their designate, this position performs basic and routine tasks in the library, including circulation desk duties, sorting and shelving library materials and shelf reading, while contributing to positive working conditions and delivery of the best possible public service. The Library Services Intern will ensure a welcoming environment at the Library branches in order to encourage and promote the mission, services and programs of the Tay Public Library system.
