Employment Opportunity: Senior Engineering Technologist – Posting Closes April 18, 2022

The Senior Engineering Technologist is an integral part of our collaborative Operational Services Team!

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering Services, or their designate, the Senior Engineering Technologist is a hands-on position that is responsible for Capital Projects, Asset Management, Civil design and Development Engineering services throughout the Township. This position will provide technical and analytical assistance to the Manager of Engineering Services, the General Manager, Operational Services and the Township as required. This position provides technical expertise and information on Township standards, policies and procedures, and completes compliance and subdivision development reviews and administration adhering to good engineering practices. Hands-on capital project design, administration and inspection for projects across all departments are a significant component of the position. This position is a public liaison and provides consultation for technical, legal, project financial, and survey assistance and direction to support Staff and the public as required. This position will be required to maintain and advance the municipality’s Geographic Information System (GIS). A complete job description is available at tay.ca/jobs
