NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Tay will hold a Special Council meeting pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 on
June 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
to receive a report from the Manager, Planning and Development Services regarding litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board (Ontario Land Tribunal), and
to consider the annual general meeting of Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution Ltd. and Envi Networks Inc., portions of the meeting will be in camera due to the confidential trade secret of portions of the companies’ operations and
to consider appointment bylaws to appoint a seasonal Municipal Law Enforcement Officer and an Interim CAO/Interim Deputy Clerk.
Further, due to the COVID-19 pandemic Council will be meeting remotely by video conference. Members of the public wishing to observe the portions of the meeting open to the public may do so by viewing the video conference online or by listening by telephone call-in.
