Notice: Trailside Brushing Work Along Tay Shore Trail to Begin October 27, 2025

Please note that Tay Township Operational Services will begin trailside brushing maintenance work on the Tay Shore Trail beginning Monday, October 27, 2025, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until approximately Friday, November 14, 2025.  

Trailside brushing maintenance ensures the trail corridor is clear of overhead, hanging and encroaching branches—helping ensure a safe experience for all trail users. 

Crews will begin work at the west end of the trail near Wye Marsh and move east through Port McNicoll, Victoria Harbour and Waubaushene. 

The trail will remain open during this work. However, trail users may experience brief delays when passing maintenance equipment. Please be aware that noise levels may be elevated in areas where crews are working.
