Proclamation : Toque Tuesday

WHEREAS there is an urgent need to raise awareness of homelessness and understanding about the causes and effects that it has on many residents in our community and across Canada; and

WHEREAS Raising the Roof is active in the coordination, collaboration and advocacy for the homeless and those at risk through communication, public awareness and education; and

WHEREAS Raising the Roof and its local affiliated agency, Redwood Park Communities hold their National Public Awareness Day on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 with a commitment to work together in support of solutions to homelessness through the Toque Fundraising Campaign;

THEREFORE I, Ted Walker,
