Seniors Event - Aging in Place and Social Isolation

Join the Tay Township Seniors Advisory Committee for the Seniors Event "Aging in Place and Social Isolation". 

This event will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Oakwood Community Centre (290 Park Street in Victoria Harbour). Although the event will run all day, attendees can arrive as they please. 

Guest speakers will present on topics of Social Isolation, Ontario Health @ Home, Home Care, Transportation, Nutrition, and Reassurance Checks.

Fitness demonstrations will be presented by VON Smart. 

Free lunch will be provided for attendees until supplies last. 

Transportation to and from the event can be arranged free of charge for those in need by contacting clerk@tay.ca or calling by 705-534-7248 x257
