Tay Township lowers flags to honour the life of John David Llewellyn Moore

The flags at the Tay Township Municipal Office have been lowered to honour the life and service of John David Llewellyn Moore, a former member of Tay Township Council.

Mr. Moore and his family loved the Georgian Bay area, enjoying all it has to offer including sailing, and cycling. As a member of town council in both Tay and Midland, Mr. Moore always strived to better our small, tightknit community.

On behalf of Mayor Walker, Council, Staff, and all residents of Tay Township, we extend our deepest condolences to the Moore family during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, his family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Midland Cultural Centre or the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre.
