Victoria Harbour Lions Club Easter Bunny Parade

Tay, Ontario – Following the April 7 confirmation by Premier Doug Ford that the Easter Bunny is an essential service provider, the Victoria Harbour Lions Club is stepping forward to take the Easter Bunny on a road tour of Victoria Harbour on Sunday, April 12 between 10 A.M. and noon.  Children of Victoria Harbour are advised to be on the lookout, while practicing physical distancing, for the Easter Bunny this Sunday.

In recognition of the importance of this essential service provider, Tay Township Fire and Emergency Services’ Victoria Harbour station crew will be escorting the Easter Bunny and Lions Club on the streets of Victoria Harbour.

Parents are reminded to educate their children about the importance of physical distancing at this time and are asked to have their children stay clear of the road as the Easter Bunny parade will not be making stops.

The Victoria Harbour Lions Club is one of thousands of Lions club in the world that provides service, opportunities and financial assistance to our community.  We are a service club made up of men and women who want to better our community.  We do accept members by invitation.

Tay Fire and Emergency Services is committed to protecting the life and property of Tay residents. Fire Chief Brian Thomas, Deputy Fire Chief Shawn Aymer, and 66+ dedicated volunteer firefighters operate from four fire stations. The fire department responds to an average of 270 calls per year and serves 10,000 residents in a 139-square kilometer area.
