The repair work is complete and water service has been restored.

If you experience discoloured water, run your cold water for 10–15 minutes to clear the service line. If the water does not clear after this time, turn off the tap, wait 30 minutes, and repeat the process.

A watermain break has occurred in Victoria Harbour from 7 Bourgeois Beach Road to O’Leary Lane to East of McMulkin Lane to Charlie Rawson & Ralph Dalton Boulevard, Cardinal Court. 

Crews from Tay Township, in partnership with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), have been dispatched and are actively responding to the situation. 

As a result, this area will have temporary loss of water until crew have completed the repair. The Ontario Clean Water Agency is going door-to-door handing out notices. 

In addition, a temporary road closure is in place for all of Charlie Rawson Boulevard.
