County Launches Community Survey: Have Your Say on Local Affordable Housing
Have Your Say on Local Affordable Housing
The County of Simcoe has launched an online survey, available until June 19th, seeking public input on residents' current and future housing needs. Responses from this survey will support the development of a new affordable housing and homelessness prevention strategy for our community.
Throughout 2023, the County will consult with community partners, industry leaders, and the public to create an updated plan for developing affordable and attainable housing options to address residents' needs throughout various life stages. Let's work together in Building Up our communities with more affordable housing and housing options that can meet urgent needs and support the future goals of our community members.
A survey to assess local housing wants, needs, and barriers is available online and open to all. We encourage our community partners, their friends, family, and the individuals and groups they serve to participate.
Note: This survey is for individuals and households currently living in Simcoe County, planning to move to Simcoe County or students considering staying in Simcoe County.
