Culture Alliance - Do You Remember When? - Application deadline extended to February 11th 2022

The Culture Alliance would like to hear your story. With the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Culture Alliance will be recording stories that capture the history, heritage and culture of the area.

Eight participants from each Beausoleil First Nation, Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay and Tiny will be selected to be interviewed and recorded. These recordings will be linked to the Cultural Asset Map and Database at https://www.culturealliance.ca/culturalassets

If you would like to be considered for one of these spots, please complete this form and submit it to info@culturealliance.ca by February 11, 2022. You can also mail/hand deliver a copy to Culture Alliance c/o Town of Midland, 575 Dominion Avenue, Midland, Ontario, L4R 1R2

Selected participants will need to sign a waiver agreeing to be recorded and to have the recording shared on multiple media platforms by the Culture Alliance.

The Culture Alliance thanks everyone who is interested in this project and will contact those selected to participate to confirm dates, times and locations for the recording. It is the responsibility of the participant to arrange transportation to the selected interview locations in each community. Participants, and anyone accompanying them, will be required to show proof of double vaccination to enter facilities and wear a mask. Participants will be able to remove their mask during the recording.
