Notice of Proposed Stop and Close Courtney Street and Sturgeon Bay Road
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF TAY
NOTICE OF PROPOSED STOP UP AND CLOSE
TAKE NOTICE that The Corporation of the Township of Tay proposes to pass a By-law to stop up, close and sell parts of a lane in the Township of Tay, County of Simcoe, more particularly described as:
A portion of the Old Sturgeon Bay Road lying north of the northerly limit of Lot 28 and north of the northerly limit of Courtney Street, east of the easterly limit of Lot 42 according to registered Plan 387, west of the east limit of Courtney Street as extended northerly in a straight line to meet the southerly limit of the new travelled Sturgeon Bay Road and south of the southerly limit of the new travelled Sturgeon Bay Road, and that portion of Courtney Street lying south of the new travelled Sturgeon Bay Road, all according to Plan 332, Township of Tay, County of Simcoe
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the Township of Tay proposes by the aforesaid By-law to declare surplus the property described above.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the proposed By-law will come before the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Tay at its regular meeting to be held by remote video and telephone conference on the 21st day of December, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. At that time Council will hear in person or by his/her solicitor or agent, any person who claims that his/her land will be prejudicially affected by the By-law and who has applied to be heard.
