NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETINGS
Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Tay will hold a Special Council meeting pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 on
July 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
to amend the Procedural By-law to permit remote participation in Council and Committee meetings following the end of the Provincial emergency declaration, and further take notice that,
Immediately following the above Special Council Meeting the Corporation of the Township of Tay will hold a Special Council meeting pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 – Closed Session – Per Section 239 (2) (b) of the Municipal Act,
for the purpose of receiving a report from the Chief Administrative Officer regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees (Employee Matter)
Further, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Ontario Regulation 52/20, which restricts the size of organized public gatherings, Council will be meeting remotely by video conference. Members of the public wishing to observe the portions of the meetings open to the public may do so by viewing the video conference online or by listening by telephone call-in. Details of the video conference and telephone call-in options will be published with the meeting agendas and at tay.ca/Meetings
The meeting agendas will be available online at tay.ca by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020.
