Parks and Recreation Update - March 2022

Manager of Parks, Recreation and Facility Services Bryan Anderson provides an update on what’s in store for Spring and Summer Recreation in the Township.

The Tay Community Rink and our three natural outdoor ice surfaces are now closed for the season. I’d like to thank the Tay Community Rink attendants, as well as Operational Services staff for keeping our ice surfaces open this season, as well Township admin staff for coordinating bookings and all of you who came out and enjoyed ice with us this year.

The Tay Community Rink Summer Floor Rentals will be available mid-May and you can find out information on booking the surface at tay.ca/rinks.

The Parks and Recreation Department is now working hard on Spring and Summer programs and activities, some of these will include Summer Day Camp Program, Active Living Programs and ever popular TOTs Summer Soccer Program. For information on registration which will open in early May visit Tay.ca/Register.
