NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
Please take notice that the Corporation of the Township of Tay will hold a Special Council meeting pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 on
August 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
to consider the annual general meeting of Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution Ltd. and Envi Networks Inc., portions of the meeting will be in camera due to the confidential trade secret of portions of the companies’ operations, and to consider a By-law to appoint seasonal Municipal Law Enforcement Officers, and to consider a possible land acquisition (in closed session).
Further, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Ontario Regulation 52/20, which restricts the size of organized public gatherings, Council will be meeting remotely by video conference. Members of the public wishing to observe the portions of the meeting open to the public may do so by viewing the video conference online or by listening by telephone call-in. Details of the video conference and telephone call-in options will be published with the meeting agenda.
The meeting agenda will be available online at tay.ca on Monday, August 9, 2021.
