Environmental Leader Seeking Public Input

Port McNicoll, Ontario – The Severn Sound Environmental Association (SSEA) is actively gathering information from its many stakeholders as it puts together its next Strategic Plan.  The Plan acts as a blueprint for SSEA as it works to implement its environmental goals over the next 5 years. 

 “If you live, work, play or vacation in the Severn Sound watershed - we want to hear from you!” says SSEA Executive Director Julie Cayley “We are interviewing our municipal and government partners to see how we can help with their environmental needs, but it is very important that we hear the views of the public.”

To find out what environmental issues are important to the public, SSEA has set up an online community survey that can be found by going to their website: www.SevernSound.ca and clicking the link to the survey or SCAN the QR code below!  

Cayley encourages everyone to take a few minutes to fill out the short online survey, have your voice heard and if provide your contact information to be entered into a draw for one of four amazing prizes (prizes are listed on the website).

The Survey closes October 30th, 2023.  The Severn Sound Environmental Association is a joint municipal service board that implements environmental initiatives on behalf of eight member municipalities in the Severn Sound Region.  To learn more about SSEA go to www.SevernSound.ca.
