Tay Township celebrates Local Government Week

Tay, Ontario: Tay Township joins municipalities across Ontario in celebrating Local Government Week, October 18 to 22, 2021.

Local Government Week is an opportunity for people of all ages to increase their civic awareness, and help everyone gain an understanding of municipal government and its impact on everyday lives. The week was developed by the Province of Ontario, the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks, and Treasurers of Ontario, and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario.

Join us as we celebrate the key role that local governments play in helping to define the character, priorities, amenities and physical make-up of Ontario’s diverse communities.
