Update: Tay Community Rink is NOW OPEN!

The Tay Community Rink is now OPEN for use!  After thorough inspections, the structural engineer has certified the temporary repairs as safe and the community rink is ready for use.  We are excited to welcome you back for some skating fun!

Please note that permanent repairs will be scheduled after March 23rd, when the rink will close for the season. We would like to extend our gratitude to our local contractors and staff for their swift action in making repairs and ensuring a safe solution.  For more information and status updates please visit tay.ca/rinks.

Additionally, we’d like to remind everyone that our outdoor rinks have officially closed for the season after 8 weeks of skating. Thank you for making the most of our outdoor skating opportunities this winter!

The Tay Community Rink is temporarily closed due to a partial roof collapse, that took place overnight on Tuesday March 4, 2025.  Our team is on-site, working to assess the situation.
