Information about 2024 permits: Obtain your parking permit by visiting the Municipal Office at 450 Park Street Victoria Harbour during regular business hours Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. after May 1st.

Residents are encouraged to fill out the online form ahead of time to speed up the process of obtaining a boat launch permit.

Please note that you will need to provide proof of property ownership or residency, and provide a license plate number of the vehicle the permit will be attached to, your drivers’ license or vehicle permit may be used as proof of residency.

Our Municipal Law Enforcement Officers will also have a kiosk set-up at the Victoria Harbour boat launch on the following weekends to accommodate residents unable to attend the Municipal Office during the week. The following are the dates and times the kiosk will be available:

  • May 2024 dates and times to be announced in the spring

Victoria Harbour Municipal Boat Launch

The Albert Street Dock is located at 91 Albert Street, in Victoria Harbour

Trailer parking at 110 and 145 Albert Street (Library parking lot) requires a Municipal Parking Permit.

Trailer Permit Parking at 145 Albert Street:

  • Monday to Friday 5:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  • Sunday 5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. (May 1 to Oct 15)

Please note: No overnight parking is permitted on any of the public parking lots.

Permits are free for Tay Township residents.

Permit is valid from time of issuance to December 31st of the year.

110 Albert Street and 145 Albert Street during the permitted hours for vehicles with trailers only.

No, you must choose which vehicle to put the parking permit sticker on. The sticker may not be transferred to another vehicle.

One permit per legally established, separate dwelling unit is permitted. Proof of address is required.

Extra permits, or permits for non-residents cannot be purchased.

You can park on William Street outside of the no parking areas near the intersections. All streets near the boat launch are restricted for vehicles with trailers and will be ticketed if parked in the restricted area. 

There are parking spaces available at 110 Albert Street and Veterans Lane for vehicles without a trailer. 

You can also launch your boat and park at the following local marinas:

Tourists and visitors may use the public launch but may not park in the permit parking spaces or on any of the restricted streets. Boat launches with parking are available at one of our local marinas listed above.

There are also spaces available on William Street in the areas indicated by the white lines away from the intersections. There is also parking available for vehicles without trailers at 110 Albert Street and Veterans Lane.
